A friend of mine has tried this out- check out her review below!

Having recently had a full head of highlights done, my hair was in a sorry state. Dry and straw-like, it required emergency treatment.
I decided not to scrimp and took myself to a local shop which sells salon products directly to the public. I explained to the shop attendant the awful things I had done to my hair and asked her advice on the best repairing product. When I explained I washed my hair daily, she recommended that I purchase the De Lorenzo Equilibrium Treatment Masque for $30.95 and use it twice a week.

So its been an extremely long time since I’ve posted anything on this and I am suitably embarassed. I was visiting Ireland and the UK if that is any defence?

Anyway I was very excited to go home, great seeing friends and family etc, but also to pick up my favourite beauty products which they just dont sell in the land of OZ! Ah Boots, how I’ve missed you.

I bought this conditioner in the airport last Friday on a weekend trip to Melbourne. It was really cheap (less than $5 for a small bottle). I picked it as I like the Palmer’s body products and I wanted something small to fit in my handbag.

Emma Watson is the cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar UK August issue.
She models autumn looks from Yves Saint Laurent to Emilio Pucci in an eight-page fashion shoot, set in the picturesque surrounds of Petersham Nurseries. Bazaar explore a previously unseen darker-edge to the actress, shot by acclaimed photographer Alexi Lubomirski. What do you think of the images? Not too sure about the wig!

Emma on not wanting to be in Hollywood: ‘LA scares the crap out of me. I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.’

Having just seen (and loved) Super 8, I was blown away by how amazing the leading lady Elle Fanning is. At only 13 she is one talented, beautiful girl. Here are some shots and interview snippets of her in Teen Vogue- loving the hair! Braids by Didier Malige.

“I don’t worry about what other people think about my clothes—I want to be me. And that’s just a little weird. I think it’s a compliment when people give me strange looks or say that I dress ‘uniquely.” More

I’m loving all the red hairdos at the moment- first Drew Barrymore now Blake Lively! She debuted the look last week at the Time 100 Most Influential People Gala.

Why the change? Apparently she’s had it for 6 weeks now. “I’m in a film called Hick and I’m a redhead for it,” she told Us Weekly.

This is really making me want to dye my hair. But then again red is so hard to get rid of…sigh. “Drew just felt like trying out red, and it looks great on her. She loves it!” says Tracey Cunningham, Redken creative consultant for color.

A while ago I wrote a post on the organic Australian haircare brand Kusco-Murphy. I’ve been using the products for over two weeks now so here’s the review.
First off, their shampoo and conditioners from their bestselling O’senntial range. I tried out the Wash, Rinse (conditioner) and Revival Balm.

The products smell absolutely gorgeous, and I love the packaging. The Wash foams up nicely which is good as some organic shampoos don’t manage it. The Rinse is a lovely everyday conditioner, which was good at untangling my very messy hair and smoothing it. The Revival Balm is a gorgeous treatment- my hair was noticeably smooth after using it. I’ve been using the 3 products over the past 2 weeks (alternating between the rinse and the Revival Balm as conditioners) and my hair feels much softer. The products dont over-moisturise in that greasy/flat kind of way that some heavier conditioners do which is great as I don’t like products that weigh your hair down.
I’ve also been trying out their styling products.

This oil has come so highly recommended by friends I thought it deserved a look-see!

Kusco-Murphy is a haircare brand I was very excited to discover when I got here. Their products are produced and manufactured in Australia. The products are all about textured hair made simple: cleanse / condition / treat.

The brand was founded in 1995 by two of Melbourne’s most prestigious hair stylists. Kusco-Murphy wanted to bring natural hair care to the market place, made with the finest quality natural essential oils, minerals and vitamins. They wanted to achieve haircare that not only treats the hair, but “embraces the purity and beauty of nature promoting harmonious feeling of tranquility, uplifting and invigorating the mind, body and soul.”

Which is a pity. Because I love it, and it smells yummy. And now I feel cheated, like Aussie have lied to me all these years.
