Bananas are a great pick-me-up. The sugars they contain are an easily digestible form of carbohydrate. Bananas also contain potassium, which helps maintain normal nerve and muscle function. Potassium isn’t stored in the body for long periods of time so your potassium levels can drop during exercise as you sweat it out.
Unfortunately buying a banana in Oz at the moment is like buying gold-dust! But they’re worth the money so you can be as happy as this.
